What Gary's Winelibrary TV did for wine with the use of video on the Internet http://tv.winelibrary.com/ This book achieved for me when I read it a few years back. It broke the fear and made be incredible excited about wine. Enjoying wine, drinking wine and discerning wine and tasting to see if it's great or crap. Oh, and it's also a great 101 on the recent history of wine and asks some great questions about life here in the US and there in the "old world". $14
Great book by Michael Sanders who follows 4 Families of winemakers in a small region in Southern France. Fascinating being part of people's lifes and they make decisions on how to groe their business, harvest their grapes and lead their lifes!
